ABOUT 

Emilia was born in Milan, Italy. As a teenager she gravitated towards milanese punk rock scene, embracing the D.I.Y. culture and aesthetics. As a young adult she flew to London where she earn a bachelor’s degree in Costume Interpretation at Wimbledon College of Arts (2016). After a first experience in making hats with Edwina Ibbotson and Claire Strickland she began exploring the theatre industry in London. Here she collaborated with the costume designer Luis Carvalho on the show Out of Blixen at the Coronet Theatre and the Tony awards winner costume designer Catherine Zuber on different shows at National Theatre and English National Theatre. She continued working along with Zuber and her team in New York at Lincoln Center and in Berlin at StaatsOper.

She currently collaborates with different costume designers including Elena Beccaro for Opera shows at Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino, Teatro La Fenice,Oper Frankfurt and more.

She collaborates with Naba school in Milan, where she lectures Costume Design and History of Costume.
